Description
This is a very nice B.B. Wells 12” Sheffield Bowie knife marked 431 Strand. It has a very nice 12” Spear point blade and the scales are nicely checkered with 5 pins. The blade width is 1 ¼” and it is .27” thick. The nickel silver cross guard is 3.45” wide. The leather scabbard is red with gold color and nickel silver trim. Made in the 1870s and the Bowie is 17 3/8” overall in length.
