This is a 5 shot 22-caliber spur trigger revolver. Bacon Manufacturing Co made less than 800 in the late 1860s. These were marketed under the Continental Arms Co. name to avoid confusion with a similar pepperbox made by Bacon. This is serial number 314 and would be a first year production pepperbox. It retains 65% barrel and cylinder blue and the mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The chambers and bores are very good. This is a very rare and hard to find pepperbox and maybe 350-400 remain.
