Very good mechanical function 85% nickel finish


This is a tiny 22 rimfire single shot deringer with a 2” barrel. Made from 1869 to 1871. This is one of the smallest American made deringer type pistols. The barrel is marked E. Allen & Co. Makers. The barrel retains over 85% original nickel finish. The brass frame has not been cleaned and is toned beautifully. The grips retain 90% varnish and the mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. Total quantity less than a few thousand made.
