This is one of the RAREST Flintlock Powder testers that I have ever encountered. It actually looks like a flintlock pistol and has a barrel. This is marked Jos Christop Frey in Munchen. A true German craftsman made this in the early 1730s. The wood is very good and the metal is very good with engraving on the hammer cock, lock plate and the escutcheon on the left side. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The markings are very good.
