Description
This is a S&W First Model 38 with a 3 ¼” barrel, nickel finish with Mother of Pearl grips. The First Model is also known as a Baby Russian. The frame and barrel retain 82% Nickel and the cylinder 70%. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is good plus to very good with some traces of frosting. The serial number 3936 and is matching. This is a first year production revolver.
