Description
This is a 38 S&W first Model Safety D.A. revolver in very good crisp and tight condition with a very good bright and shiny bore with strong rifling but does have some traces of corrosion. The left grip bottom has a chip missing and is serial number 2741. This is a 4” barrel and retains 45% nickel finish. This first model was made for one year in 1887 with the Z bar release on the top strap. It’s not the best looking but it is a First model safety and is very good and reliable. Only 5250 were made of this model.
