Description
This is an 1810 era Calvary Saber and probably used in the War of 1812. Our Colonial resistance did not have war weapons, and many were imported from Europe prior to the start of the War of 1812. This one comes with the original patina covered scabbard. The grip is leather covered and wire wrapped. The blade is 33 1/2“long and 39 5/8” overall in length. The blade is 1 7/16” wide and has a small fuller just below the spine of the saber. This saber is very solid and still in very good condition.
