Famous trademark I*XL, with scabbard

Description

The famous trademark I*XL was granted to Wostenholm in 1826. This is a 10 5/8” clip point blade and is 15 3/8” overall in length. It has Stag horn grips having 4 pins holding them in place. The guard is German Silver and also the escutcheon plaque on the left panel. The leather scabbard is in very good condition. The tip cap and the throat are metal. Made between 1848-1865.
