Description
This is a very rare 31 caliber pocket revolver and is the baby brother of the Navy 36 caliber. There were 200 4 ¼” 31 caliber made, 100 round barrel and 100 made with the octagon barrel. According to Norm Flayderman, these are RARE. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The safety works and the bore has good rifling but does show a few small spots of corrosion. The number current for sale anywhere is none. There sure can’t be more than a few remaining. Only traces of the original finish remaining. The matching serial number is 1806. These are like hen’s teeth, hard to find.
