Shreve & Wolf opened a Sporting Goods and Firearms business in 1880 till 1886. They dissolved they’re partnership in 1886. The California Bull Dog is a larger frame. This is #13 and it retains 75% original nickel finish with crisp markings. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is good plus with frosting. The raised panel grips are very good, no chips or cracks. Shreve & Wolf marked California Bull Dogs are hard to come by as they only had a 6 year partnership.
