Description
This is an Early 4th Model 1851 Navy and the matching SN is #113680. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the bore is very good bright with strong rifling but does have some minor corrosion. The barrel has 30% fading blue and cylinder retains 35% cylinder scene. The safety pins are worn down. The grip heel on the right side has a small chip. The frame and loading lever retain 35%-dark case colors. Soldiers learned that the quickest reload was another gun. Made in 1861.
