Description

This is a U.S. Model 1811 Flintlock pistol made by Simeon North, Berlin, Connecticut from 1811-1813. The lock is marked S. North/Berlin/Con and forward of the cock is the spread-eagle motif and below that U. States. The 69-caliber barrel is marked US with eagle over V. The Cartouche on the left side is CW for Charles Williams. The ramrod is a replacement because the end has a brass tip and the other has an augur tip. The mechanical function is very good and all of the markings are fine condition.
