Description

This Colt Army Model retains 25% blue in the protected areas and 50% silver on the trigger guard. The serial number is 193828 and was not converted to cartridge. The cylinder retains 90% cylinder scene and 35-40% fading case colors. The mechanical function is very good, crisp and tight. The bore is very good with strong rifling but does have some frosting and a tiny bit of fine corrosion is a few spots. The grips still have 75% original varnish left. It is all matching number but the wedge is not numbered and is missing the little spring. The safety pins are all intact on the rear of the cylinder and the nipples are fine and could be removed. This is a nice solid original Colt 60 Army revolver, made in 1871.
