Description
This Deringer Model 1842 has a rifled barrel with front and rear sight. There are no proof marks or cartouche on this one anywhere. The bore is fine and with strong rifling and the mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. This one could be a nice shooter with the proper powder charge. Deringer was the first to use rifled barrels.
