Description
This Model 1816 is an original flintlock and it has very good mechanical function. The .69 caliber bore is very good bright with a small amount of fine corrosion. The barrel is 41 9/16” long and is dated 1820 on the rear left flat. The serial number is 595 just forward of the tang and rear tang is marked M 1816. The lock very good plus condition with very sharp and crisp markings. Most all of the metal parts have proof marks on them. The wood is in very good condition.
