Description
This is a percussion single shot French Naval pistol and is dated 1839. It has a 5 7/8” smooth bore 61 caliber barrel. These pistols were finished in the white. The mechanical function is very good with a crisp action. The bore is excellent and is not pitted. It appears to have hardly ever been fired. The nipple is excellent. There is a Navy Anchor stamped on the butt. There are no cracks or damage to the wood.
