Description
The S&W Fourth model D.A. was made from 1883-1909. The cut off for an antique is 209300 and that would be Dec. 31, 1898. This is 183397 so that is probably late 1897. This retains over 90% original nickel finish, only the cylinder has some nickel flaking off. The mechanical function is crisp and tight. All of the markings are crisp and tight. The bore is very good bright and shiny with only a small trace of corrosion, and the grips are very fine plus, no chips or cracks.
