This is a very RARE item with a 4” barrel. Roy Jinks said that less than 20 were in existence today. That makes the 4” barrel which is more rare than the Transition Model. The mechanical function very good and tight. The bore is very good bright and shiny but does have some corrosion from black powder priming. This is an original 4” barrel and not stretched. The only way you can get a letter on it is if you send the gun to S&W for verification. This one retains 77-80% blue and the grips have 95% varnish. Serial Number 13930.
