Hood Fire Arms Co. Norwich, Conn were the manufacturers of many different types of firearms. Freeman Hood had dozens of US Patents and was a prolific designer and inventor. The mechanical function is very good and tight. The bore is bright but is thin on rifling and it retains 73% nickel finish. No cracks on the wood grips. NO ON CANADA SALES FOR THIS ONE.
