Description
Deringer was awarded a contract for 2000 of the 54 caliber rifled bore flintlock rifles. This reconversion has a raised cheek piece and a oval iron patchbox and three barrel bands and two relief finger ridges on the lower trigger guard plate. It has a very good bright bore with very strong rifling. The mechanical function is very good. No damage to the wood except for a few minor scratches.
