Description
The bore is very good bright and shiny with very good mechanical function on this Springfield . This has the Maynard tape primmer compartment with Eagle on it and 1858 Lock date, and an 1857 barrel date. The stock has a nice ESA inspector cartouches and the ramrod has the tulip shaped end. The 58 caliber rifled barrel and all metal parts were finished bright. The wood is nice with only light scratches and bumps. The bayonet is the 1855/70 socket bayonet with leather scabbard and brass tip.
