Description
This is a US Model 1816 S. North Original Flint Lock pistol. On the lock S. NORTH Spread Eagle Shield, US MIDLN CONN. The barrel is 9 1/6” long and marked US P MS and has a J above the flash hole. The double barrel band has an R on it. On the left side there is a J above the Cartouche with LS with-in the oval and MS below it. The swelled tip ram rod has an iron ferrule threaded for cleaning and ball removal. The iron parts are finished brown. This is an original flintlock pistol.
