Description
This is a Springfield Model 1842 percussion 69 caliber rifled bore musket. The stock cartouche has been sanded and only the sub inspector B is located behind the trigger guard tang. The lock is 1852 dated and the barrel 1853 date. The mechanical function is very good and tight. The bore is bright with frosting and a small patch of light corrosion. It comes with the US marked bayonet.
