Description
This 1873 Musket is serial number 450795 and retains 50% receiver blue and the barrel 60% blue. The bore is not the brightest but still has strong rifling is shiny but does show fine corrosion from the corrosive priming. The mechanical function is very good and tight. No cleaning rod in the butt compartment. The ladder rear sight goes up to 800 yards. With a 30” barrel the 1873 Musket rifle were very accurate.
