Description
This is a very fine condition Alex Henry 12 bore double rifle with beautiful Damascus patterned barrels. They are 28” long side by side with three platinum lined leaf sights regulated to 50, 100 and 150 yards. The back action lock has internal firing pins. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The hammer safeties both function. The beautiful patterned Damascus barrels are very good condition with bright strong rifling and only the slightest amount of fine corrosion. The receiver, locks, under lever, trigger guard and pistol grip compartment cover and lid are all engraved including the butt plates. The compartment measures .52” wide and .77” deep. The wood checkering is sharp and the wood is not damaged. The front grip has a small expert repair to the left edge, which is shown in the picture. It has a hefty weight of 10 pounds 4 ounces empty. The barrels and receiver are serial numbered 1404.
