Description
This is serial number 1428 and is matching numbers and is marked American Standard Co. Newark, NJ. This has an engraved cylinder and retains 55% barrel blue and 70% silver plate on frame. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight with a very good bright and shiny bore. The barrel is tight to the frame. There were 40,000 manufactured and so this one was probably made in 1868, first year production.
