Description
This is a really nice all matching serial number is 247435 number including the wedge. It has safety pins between 5 of the six chambers. The barrel retains 75% blue and the balance is 20% plum color. The cylinder retains 75% blue and the balance 15% is plum. The hammer, rammer and frame over 80% case colors. The grips have over 90% varnish. The bore is nice and bright with strong rifling but does have some corrosion, the mechanical function is crisp and tight. This one was made in 1863 and soldiers from both sides bought revolvers for private purchase. The soldiers quickly determined that the quickest reload was another revolver and this one had 6 shots.
