Description
This is a very crisp Marlin Standard 38 centerfire revolver with serial number 8284 and is matching numbers. It retains over 85% original nickel finish. It has very good mechanical function and a very good bore, bright and shiny with frosting. The only nickel missing is a small amount just above the top of the grips on both sides. The barrel to frame is very tight. A total of 12000 were made from 1876-1887. My guess is this was made between 1879 and 1882.
