Description
This is a Model 1811 Transition with the iron double barrel strap, only 550 were made. This one appears to be original flintlock, 73 caliber with an 8 ½” barrel. It is in very good mechanical condition. The lock is marked Spread Eagle with U. States under the eagle. The rear of the lock is S. North Berlin Con. There is a Catouche on the left side behind the side plate, V over HHP. The mechanical function is very good. Smooth dirty bore. No cracks or damage to the wood.
