Description
This is a Remington New Model No. 3, 38 rimfire with a saw handle grip. The serial number is 25740 and has matching numbers. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore is very good bright and shiny but does have some frosting. It retains 85% original nickel finish. This was made near the end of production in 1887 or 1888. They made 6000 of the saw handled last production revolvers.
