Description
This is marked S. NORTH/ BERLIN/ CON and has a Spread Eagle with U. STATES under it. 3000 were produced 1808-1810. This is about 69 caliber is smooth bore and the barrel is 9 15/16” long and it is 16 ¼” overall in length. This pistol is an original Flintlock pistol. It has a replaced ramrod with a brass tip. The flash pan is brass and the left side has an iron belt hook. The right grip has a repaired crack and no crack on the left side. The barrel has no markings or proof marks. This one does not have a cartouche on the left side. The mechanical function is very good and tight. Above the belt hook on the left side is a wood grain crack. This pistol rates a solid Good Plus condition.
