Description
This is a Model 1819 Flintlock Pistol made by Simeon North of Middletown, Connecticut in 1822. The lock is marked S.NORTH with a Spread Eagle US MIDLTN CONN. The rear of the lock is dated 1822. The barrel is 10” long and 15 ½” and is 54 cal. The barrel is marked US/P/JDJ. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight and the safety is crisp and tight. All iron parts were finished brown.
