Description
This is a Standard model 1845 lock date with 35% case colors and the breech of the barrel is USN/ 1845/RC/P. The left side wood has a very nice NWP for Nahum W. Patch. It is a 54 caliber 6” barrel with a very good smooth bore. The mechanical function is very good and all of the markings are clear. The wood is fine with out any cracks or damage, only some storage dings. Overall this is a fine condition US Navy pistol. These pistols where used in the Civil War till the Army and Navy were upgraded with revolvers.
