Description
This Flintlock pistol is Tower marked and has the British Crown seal on the lock. The barrel is marked with 3 British proof marks and there are two stamped cartouches on the left side, JB is one and the other I think was a British colony store stamp. It is 65 caliber and has a captive rammer, and the mechanical function is good. It has a decent bore, a little dirty but will clean up much better. The metal is a dark patina and the wood is fine with out any cracks or damage. I think it was made just after 1800 and was probably a Colonial Trade gun.
