Description
This a 38 caliber rimfire with Colts Patent on the left side of the with serial number 948. The barrel address is Address Col. Sam-Colt New-York U.S. America. The mechanical function is very good crisp and tight. The bore has thin rifling with corrosion and is bright. The right grip heel edge is worn and the left is ok with about 50% varnish. The cylinder still has about 1/3 or more of the cylinder scene. The markings and numerals are about very good. This was made after 1871. The metal finish is a patina with thin traces of case colors.
