Description
This is a Cased Colt 5 ½’ barrel 1878 D.A. 45 with a Pall Mall London address. It was made in mid to late 1879. The mechanical is very good crisp and tight and has a very good bright and shiny bore with strong rifling. The frame and barrel retain 85% nickel and the cylinder 80% nickel finish. The grips are very fine with out chips or cracks. The serial number is 3637. The box comes with an empty cartridge tray, oil bottle marked James Dixon Shefield on bottom and a cleaning rod, no key. The box and label are very good condition but the bottom wood shows a solid repair to it.
